Kim Pedrick MCSP HCPC - physiotherapy, Pilates, yoga

Kim is a Chartered physiotherapist with over 16 years experience working in the NHS and private practice. Kim trained and then worked as a dancer before injury meant a career re-think. She qualified with a BSC (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 1998 and since then has undertaken a Masters degree in sports physiotherapy as well as training in both western and traditional acupuncture. In addition she continues to attend regular postgraduate courses keeping up to date in the best forms of evidence based treatment. Kim has trained extensively in Pilates and yoga in the UK and US and is an experienced, qualified instructor who regularly lectures and runs workshops for other professionals. She has taught at all levels and has a passion for using movement as part of her treatment and to enable everybody to move better, whatever their ability and physical fitness level. She uses manual therapy techniques in conjunction with acupuncture and Pilates to treat the musculoskeletal system and believes in a holistic approach to feeling better whatever your needs.

Debbie Corpe - Pilates

Debbie is a qualified Pilates instructor ­ Studio, Mat and Barre and a Holistic Medical Massage and Hot Stone Fusion therapist.

After experiencing niggling back pain she began attending regular Pilates lessons and began to feel a huge improvement in flexibility, posture and core strength. The sense of well­being and body awareness combined to help her feel comfortable and confident in her own body and to move freely and efficiently. As a result of her own experience she was inspired to train as a PiIates instructor and undertook an 18 month course at the Oxford School of Pilates, which was affiliated to the Alan Herdman Pilates Studio, the man responsible for bringing Pilates to the UK.

Over her years of teaching she has seen many clients benefit from regular Pilates sessions as they find relief from back, neck and shoulder pain, improved mobility, posture and core strength. As a natural progression she has also qualified in Holistic Massage and Hot Stone Therapy techniques with the Jing School of Massage in Brighton. Hands on massage techniques can provide soft tissue release to enhance the benefits of Pilates.

Nina Schofield - yoga

Nina has been practising yoga for 20 years and has experience in several styles including: Scaravelli Inspired; Vinyasa Flow and; Hatha Yoga. Having moved into teaching, she's close to completing a diploma covering detailed anatomy & Physiology, Advanced teaching techniques, adjustment and Yoga philosophy.

In addition to her yoga Nina is also a black belt in Shotokan Karate and is working towards her 2nd Dan. She has also spent the last 4 years training in Pole exercise and dance, a fun way to build core strength. She has a background in dance and movement and has a passion for helping people be the best they can be.

Her classes are a fusion of traditional Hatha, blended with the anatomical approach from Scaravelli inspired yoga including some flow and sequences. Working towards a healthy outlook to mind and body, Nina encourages her students to work at their own pace and fosters a non-competitive environment which is relaxed and also challenging.

Carol Pedrick - older adult fitness

Carol is a qualified Exercise to Music and Fitness Instructor. She has been working in the health and fitness industry for more years than she cares to remember but still has a real passion for it. In the last 20 years she has specialised in exercise classes for the older generation and has found their enthusiasm and commitment to be amazing - not to mention the improvement in their wellbeing.
Carol wants her classes to be fun and beneficial to each and every one of the participants. The aim is to improve movement and flexibility quality, working within each individual's ability and conditions, and very importantly confidence.

Sometimes I find it difficult to motivate myself to go to class but I know I will feel so much better afterwards. We always have a laugh and we all do as much as we can. Thank you. Beryl - a member of Carol's classes for 15 years.

Lizzie Atkins - massage therapy

Lizzie Atkins has been a Sports Massage Therapist for 7 years.
Lizzie worked with the French Rugby squad (FFR) for the duration of their recent Rugby World Cup campaign until they exited at the Quarter Final stage.

Lizzie is currently working with British adventurer Sarah Outen MBE, which included the final stage of her London2London trip via the world finishing in November 2015, taking over 4 years of rowing, cycling and kayaking across the northern hemisphere.

She has had the privilege of working with elite athletes and sports teams over the years, such as Surrey County Cricket, England Ladies Cricket; RFU International 7′s squads; RFU match officials; middle & long distance runners representing Australia in the World Championships; Harlequins Rugby League squad, Sonia O'Sullivan ex-Olympic athlete and the Fijian Rugby Squad.

Lizzie also worked for Lucozade at the London Marathon from 2010 to 2014.
